KINGS OF CAPPADOCIA. Ariarathes VI Epiphanes Philopator, circa 130-112/0 BC. Dichalkon (Bronze, 22 mm, 4.54 g, 11 h), Eusebeia Mazaka. Diademed and draped bust of Ariarathes VI to right, wearing high bashlyk; monogram behind his neck. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ /ΑΡΙΑΡΑΘΟΥ Athena seated left, elbow resting on shield to right, holding Nike in her right hand and spear in her left. Henseler 20. HGC 7, 825. Simonetta 5. Attractive green patina – a pleasing coin. Very fine.
