Rev. 𐠗𐠭𐠍𐠛 ( = ni-ko-da-mo , 'Nikodamos', in Cypriote syllabary) Ankh, enclosing letter 𐠞 ( = pa, the initial letter of pa-si-le-wo-se, 'king', in Cypriote syllabary). It seems quite possible that the addition of the patronymic on the obverse may indicate that the king who came between Evelthon and Nikodamos, Phausis, may have been either a usurper or a regent who held the kingship until Nikodamos came of age.
