PERSIAN ASIA MINOR, Achaemenid Empire. Time of Xerxes II to Artaxerxes II, Circa 420-375 BC. Siglos (Silver, 18 mm, 5.34 g). Persian king, wearing radiate tiara, in running/kneeling stance to right, holding bow in his left hand, spear in his right and with a quiver over his shoulder. Rev. Oblong incuse. Carradice Type IIIb C (pl. XIV, 36). BMC Arabia pl. XXV, 15. Toned and unusually complete. Struck on an oblong flan as usual, and with a banker's mark on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
