IONIA. Ephesos. Circa 350-340 BC. Drachm (Silver, 15.5 mm, 3.61 g, 12 h), Mnesarchos, magistrate. E - Φ Bee with straight open wings flanked by two astragaloi. Rev. MNHΣAPXOΣ Stag standing right; behind, palm tree. BMC -. Pixodarus p. 191. SNG Copenhagen -. CNG 76 (2007) 708 and CNG 58 (2001) 571. A very rare issue, with apparently only three examples known for this magistrate. Very fine.
