Description

CORINTHIA. Corinth. Circa 375-300 BC. Stater (Silver, 21 mm, 8.66 g, 3 h). Ϙ Pegasos, with pointed wings, flying to left. Rev. Head of Aphrodite to left, wearing Corinthian helmet with leather neck guard and a pearl necklace; behind neck, Δ and radiate facing head of Helios. BCD Corinth 100 var. BMC 289 var. Calciati 392 . Lightly toned, very attractive and very well struck. Extremely fine.
