GREEK COINS
CORINTHIA
Corinth. Circa 375-300 BC. Stater (Silver, 22mm, 8.68 g 9). š Pegasus flying left with pointed wing. Rev. Head of Aphrodite to left, wearing Corinthian helmet with leather neck guard; behind neck, A Λ and cuirass. BCD Corinth 120. Calciati 410 ( misprinted 402 in BCD ). Attractively toned and lustrous. A few minor marks, otherwise , extremely fine. From a collection in Ticino, formed over 20 years ago.
