ORDINVM*TRANSISSVLANIÆ* INSIGNIA (= arms of the States of Overijssel ) At top center, shield bearing the arms of Overijssel linked by bands to the arms of Deventer, Campen and Zwolle; around, shields bearing the arms of the seventeen members of the Council of Overijssel. Rev. *LIBERTATEMxNEMOxBONVSxNISIxCVMxANIMAxSIMVLxAMISIT (= No good man ever lost his liberty except with his life ) Prince Maurice, in full armor, on horseback galloping to right; behind, city view.
