Description
LYDIA. Hierocaesaraea. time of Trajan to Hadrian, 98-138. Hemiassarion (Bronze, 16.5 mm, 3.29 g, 12 h). Draped bust of Artemis to right, with quiver over her shoulder; to right, bow and arrow. Rev. IEPOKAICAPEΩN Forepart of stag to right. BMC 10. RPC III 1863. SNG von Aulock 2955. Particularly sharp and well-struck, with a fine, dark green-black patina. Extremely fine.
