KINGS OF BOSPOROS. Rheskuporis II with Caracalla, 211-226. Stater (Electrum, 18.5 mm, 7.67 g, 12 h), year BIΦ = 512 = 214-215. BACIΛEΩC PHCKOYΠOPIΔOC Diademed draped and cuirassed bust of Rheskuporis II to right, seen from behind. Rev. BIΦ Laureate and draped bust of Caracalla to right; to right, eight pointed star. MacDonald 555/4 var (bust type). With a most unusual and very scarce bust type for Sauromates. Good very fine.
