PHRYGIA. Laodicea ad Lycum. Augustus, 27 BC-14 AD. (Bronze, 17 mm, 3.20 g, 12 h), Zeuxis Philalethes, magistrate, c. 15 BC (?). [ΣΕΒΑΣΤΟΣ] Bare head of Augustus to right; lituus before. Rev. ZEYΞΙΣ ΦΙΛΑΛΗΘΗΣ / ΛΑΟΔΙΚΕΩΝ Serpent-entwined staff of Asclepius. RPC I 2895. With a fine and clear portrait of Augustus. Obverse slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
