Andronicus I Comnenus, 1183-1185. Tetarteron (Bronze, 22.5 mm, 3.77 g, 6 h), Thessalonica. (MHP) ΘV Half-length Theotokos nimbate and orans. Rev. [ΑΝΔΡΟ-ΝΙΚΟC] or similar Half-length figure of Andronicus I holding labarum in right hand and globus cruciger in left. DOC 6. SB 1987. Dark green patina. About extremely fine.
