D N IVSTINI-ANVS P P AVG Helmeted and cuirassed bust of Justinian I three-quarters facing to right, holding a spear with his right hand over his right shoulder and with a shield, embellished with horseman attacking a fallen foe, over his left. Rev. VICTORI-A AVGGG Z / CONOB Angel standing facing, holding long, jeweled cross in right hand and globus cruciger in left; to left field, star. DOC 3 var. (officina). MIBE 5. SB 137. Overstruck on an earlier issue. Light marks, otherwise, good very fine.
