Description

★ Possibly unique variant! ★

PHRYGIA. Prymnessus. Tiberius, 14-37. (Bronze, 18.5 mm, 5.50 g, 1 h). ΣΕΒΑΣΤΟΣ Laureate head of Tiberius (?) to right. Rev. ΚΑΙΚΙΛΙΟΣ ΠΛΟΚΑΜΟΣ ΠΡΥΜΝΗΣΣΕΩΝ Dikaiosyne advancing, left, with scales and two ears of corn; in rinner right field, M; in exergue, monogram. RPC I, 3202.16 (this coin, with additional note). Possibly unique with 'M' in inner right field on reverse (see note in RPC online). Slightly off-center and minor marks, otherwise, very fine.

From the collection of a numismatist.

It is not quite clear if the portrait on the obverse intends to depict Augustus or Tiberius.
