Description
KYRENAIKA. Kyrene. Circa 525-480 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 10 mm, 1.77 g). Three silphium fruits joined at the base. Rev. Star with four rays(?) within incuse square. BMC -. SNG Copenhagen 1168. Extremely rare. Toned. Obverse struck slightly off center. Porous surfaces, otherwise, very fine.
