NABATAEA. Rabbell II, with Gamilat, AD 70-106. Drachm (Silver, 14.5 mm, 3.23 g, 12 h), Petra, regnal year 20 = 89/90. 'Rabbel, king of the Nabataeans, year 20' (in Nabataean Aramaic) Laureate and draped bust of Rabbel II to right. Rev. 'Gamilat, his sister, queen of the Nabataeans' (in Nabataean Aramaic) Laureate, veiled, and draped bust of Gamilat to right. Al-Qatanani 239. Barkay 232. Meshorer, Nabataea -. Deeply toned with red earthen highlights. Impressive obverse double strike. Minor roughness, otherwise, nearly very fine.
