SELEUKID KINGS. Antiochos III ‘the Great’, 223-187 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 28.5 mm, 15.99 g, 12 h), Soloi, c. 197-187 BC. Diademed head of Antiochos III to right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ ANTIOXOY Apollo seated to left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his left on grounded bow; to outer left field, monogram consisting of ΔΙ; to outer right field, monogram consisting of ΠΑ. Houghton, NC 1989, p. 18, 38-42. SC 1021.3. Rare. Porous and rough surfaces; minor marks and scratches, otherwise, very fine.
