ILLYRIA. Damastion. Circa 365-300 BC. Stater (Silver, 24 mm, 13.41 g, 12 h). Laureate head of Apollo to left. Rev. ΕΙΔ-ΚΗ Tripod with legs ending in lion's paws set on rectangular base inscribed with ΗΡΑΚΛ. May, Damastion 52b. SNG Ashmolean 3320. Toned. Die breaks on obverse and struck on a tight flan, otherwise, extremely fine.
