THESSALY. Larissa. Circa 460-440 BC. Triobol (Silver, 16.5 mm, 3.00 g, 6 h). Thessalos restraining rushing forepart of a bull to right; below, ΟΠ. Rev. Α-Λ/ΡI Forepart of bridled horse galloping to right; below, Jason’s sandal to right; all within shallow incuse square. BCD Thessaly I 1124 (same dies). Herrmann Group III Series E. Lorber 2008, 15, pl. 42, 30. Rare. Graffito and brush marks on the rveverse, otherwise, very fine.
