KINGS OF BOSPOROS. Cotys III, AD 227/8-233/4. Stater (Electrum, 20 mm, 7.58 g, 2 h), Dated Bosporan era ΦΚΘ (529) = 232-233. BACIΛEWC KOTΥOC Diademed and draped bust of Kotys III to right. Rev. Laureate and draped bust of Severus Alexander to right; below, ΘKΦ. Anokhin 659. MacDonald 578/2. Extremely rare with drapery on reverse; lustrous and well struck. Minor scratches, otherwise, good extremely fine.
