CIMMERIAN BOSPOROS. Pantikapaion. Circa 430-420 BC. Diobol (Silver, 12 mm, 1.45 g, 3 h). Head of lion facing. Rev. Π-Α-Ν and stellate design on raised segments within quarters of quadripartite incuse square. Frolova Type XII. HGC 7, 38. MacDonald 14/3. Lightly toned. Rare, especially in this condition. Good very fine.
