Alexius III Angelus-Comnenus, 1195-1203. Aspron Trachy (Bronze, 26 mm, 1.77 g, 6 h), Constantinople, 1195-1197. + KE BOH-ΘEI / IC - XC Nimbate youthful bust of Christ facing. Rev. [ΑΛΕΞΙω ΔΕCΠ] Θ KωN[TANTI] Alexius and St. Constantine standing facing, holding labara and a globus cruciger between them. DOC 3. SB 2012. Some roughness, otherwise, nearly very fine.
