Antoninus Pius, AD 138-161. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.10 g, 6 h), Rome, 139. [I]MP T AEL CAES HADR ANTONINVS Bare head of Antoninus Pius to right. Rev. [A]VG PIVS [P] M TR P [COS II] Emblems of the pontificate: knife, sprinkler, jug, lituus and simpulum. RIC III 30. Very rare; toned. Minor porosity, otherwise, nearly very fine.
