Nero, 54-68 AD. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 34 mm, 24.41 g, 6 h), Rome, circa 64. NERO CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG GER P M TR P IMP P P Laureate head of Nero to right, with aegis on neck. Rev. DECVRSIO Nero on horseback, prancing to right and holding a spear; behind, mounted soldier riding to left and holding vexillum over shoulder; across fields, S-C. BMC 143. Cohen 83. RIC I 170. Well centered. Minor marks and scratches, otherwise, very fine.
