CORINTHIA. Corinth. Circa 500-450 BC. Stater (Silver, 19 mm, 8.41 g, 3 h). Ϙ Pegasos, bridled and with curved wings, flying to right. Rev. Head of Athena to right, wearing Corinthian helmet with neck guard, pendant earring, and pearl necklace; all within incuse square. BCD Corinth 22. Calciati 59. HGC 4, 1823. Ravel 245. Attractively toned. Struck from worn dies, otherwise, very fine.
