Histamenon (Gold, 27 mm, 4.41 g, 6 h), Constantinople. +IhS XIS REX RЄCNANTҺIM Christ, nimbate, seated facing on square-backed throne, raising right hand in benediciton and holding gospels with left. Rev. +KωN RAC Λ O ΔOVKAC Constantine X standing facing, wearing crown and loros, holding globus cruciger in left hand and labarum in right. DOC 1b. SB 1847. Attractive and well centered. Extremely fine.
