IMP M ANT GORDIANVS AFR AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian II to right, with a balding forehead and a light beard. Rev. VIRTVS AVGG Virtus standing to left, holding a reversed spear in his left hand and resting his right on a grounded shield. BMC 30. Cohen 14. RIC IV 3. Lightly toned and with a fine portrait. Minor porosity, otherwise, good very fine.
