Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 19.5 mm, 3.48 g, 6 h), Rome mint, 121-123. IMP CAESAR TRAIAN H-ADRIANVS AVG Laureate bust of Hadrian to right. Rev. P M TR P COS III Hadrian standing to left, holding a rudder set on globe in right hand, and a reverse spear in his left hand. BMC 238. Cohen 1162. RIC II.3 567. Beautifully toned, well-centered and lustrous; with an exceptionally sharp reverse strike. Good extremely fine.
