Description

ELIS. Olympia. 103rd Olympiad, 368 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 16 mm, 2.97 g, 9 h), Hera mint. Head of Hera to right, wearing stephane inscribed with HPA; and with F-A on either side of her neck. Rev. Eagle standing to left with his wings spread and his head turned back to right. BCD Olympia 115. HGC 5, 436. Weber 4078. Very rare and with a serene and noble head of Hera. Some porosity, otherwise, about extremely fine.
