SICILY, Siculo-Punic. Uncertain mint. Circa 300-289 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25.5 mm, 16.32 g, 1 h), "People of the Camp", possibly Entella. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. MHSBM ( in Punic script ) Head of a horse to left; behind, palm tree; in field to left, kerykeion. HGC 2, 295. Jenkins, Punic Series 5b, O115/R-. Same dies as UBS 61 (2004), 4237. Attractively toned with hints of iridescence. Reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
