GAUL. Massalia. Circa 49-25 BC. Small Bronze (Bronze, 12 mm, 2.78 g, 9 h). ΔΡ[ΑΓΑ] Helmeted head of Minerva to right. Rev. ΜΑΣ[ΣΑ] Eagle standing to right with spread wings. BN 1970-1972. F/Py PBM 85-1. Clear and with a golden-brown patina. Struck from a worn obverse die, otherwise, very fine.
