GAUL. Massalia. Circa 450-400 BC. Obol (Silver, 10.5 mm, 0.81 g, 9 h). [ΛΑΚΥΔΩΝ] Bare head of the hero Lakydon to right. Rev. [ΜΑ] Lion's head to left, with open jaws and protruding tongue; all within a shallow incuse square. F/Py OBM-5a. Rare. Toned. Both sides slightly off-center, otherwise, good very fine.
