Description

CORINTHIA. Corinth. Circa 400-375 BC. Stater (Silver, 22 mm, 8.66 g, 12 h). Ϙ Pegasus flying right with straight wings. Rev. Head of Aphrodite to left, wearing Corinthian helmet; behind, aphlaston. Pegasi 246/2. Ravel -, cf. P303/T424 var. Very rare variety. An elegant, toned example. Extremely fine.
