MACEDON. Terone. Circa 500-490 BC. Diobol (Silver, 11 mm, 1.17 g, 2 h). Oinochoe with handle to right; to left field, sun or rosette. Rev. Quadripartite incuse scure. Cf. Hardwick Group II, pl. 29, 7 (handle to left). HGC 3.1, 710. SNG ANS -. Cf. Nomos 32, 8 June 2024, 393 (drachm, similar symbol). Toned and an extremely rare variant. Some porosity, otherwise, about very fine.
