Divus Augustus, died AD 14. As (Copper, 27.5 mm, 10.80 g, 7 h), struck under Tiberius, Rome, 22/3-30. DIVVS AVGVSTVS PATER Radiate head of Augustus to left. Rev. S - C / PROVIDENT Altar. BMC 146 (Tiberius). BN 132 (Tiberius). Cohen 228. RIC² 81 (Tiberius). An attractive piece with light brown patina. Reverse slightly off-center, otherwise, very fine.
