Diademed head of Antiochos to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ/ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟV // ΕVΣΕΒΟVΣ/ΦΙΛΟΠΑΤΟΡΟΣ Zeus seated left on throne, holding Nike on his right hand and an upright scepter with his left; below throne, monogram of ΔΙ; all within laurel wreath; over the wreath to left, monogram of TMΛ above monogram of Λ•. HGC 9, 1288. SC 2434.1. SNG Spaer 2788. Well-struck and lightly toned, with impressive surfaces and a particularly fresh and bold portrait; a relatively rare late example. Flan faults on obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
