PAMPHYLIA. Side. Circa 370-360 BC. Stater (Silver, 21.5 mm, 10.68 g, 1 h). Athena, helmeted and wearing long robes, standing left, holding Nike in her right hand and shield with her left; to right, long verical spear; to left pomegranate on branch. Rev. Pamphylian inscription Apollo standing left, holding laurel branch in his right hand, and sacrificing, with phiale held in his left, over altar to left; to right, raven standing left; on the upper left field, countermark of a bull to left within rectangular punch. Atlan 98. SNG France 642 ( same dies and countermark ). SNG von Aulock 4769. Toned and detailed; rare variety. Flat area on obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
