Description
BOEOTIA, Federal Coinage. Circa 395-387 BC. Stater (Silver, 21.5 mm, 10.56 g). Boeotian shield. Rev. ΒΟ-ΙΩ Amphora with fluted body and prominent handles; above, club to right. BCD Boiotia 16. BMC 45. SNG Copenhagen 169. Attractively toned. Test punch on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
From an old European collection formed before 2000.
