LUCANIA. Thourioi. Circa 400-350 BC. Distater (Silver, 26 mm, 14.68 g, 3 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing an Attic helmet adorned with Skylla swimming to right on the bowl. Rev. Bull butting to right, his head turned slightly to his right; in the exergue, two grey mullets swimming to right. Noe H8. SNG ANS 972. Boldly struck, toned and attractive. Minor edge cracks. Nearly extremely fine.
