Description

GREEK COINS Phliasia Phlious, c. 280-270 BC. Hemidrachm (Sil­ver, 15mm, 2.66g 7). Bull butting to left, head lowered and turned to face the viewer. Rev. Φ Ivy wreath with four inner leaves, tied at the bottom and with a rosette of seven berries at the top. BCD Peloponnesos 136 ( this coin ). BMC 18 ff. Attractively toned and well struck. About ex­tremely fine. From the Spina Collection, Nomos 7, 15 May 2013, 104 and from the BCD Collection, LHS 96, 8 May 2006, 136, ex Triton I, 2 December 1997, 509.
