BARBAROUS IMITATION. Augustus Caesar, 27 BC-14 AD. As (26.5 mm, 8.40 g, 11 h), after 7 BC, uncertain Balkan or eastern mint. Bare head to left. Rev. Pseudo-legend around [SC]. Cf. RIC I 432 (prototype). Areas of weak striking, otherwise, about very fine.
