CORINTHIA. Corinth. Circa 400-375 BC. Stater (Silver, 20.5 mm, 8.39 g, 12 h). Ϙ Pegasos with straight wing flying right. Rev. Head of Athena to right, wearing Corinthian helmet; behind, inverted trident; all within shallow incuse square. HGC 4, 1827. Pegasi 96 ( same reverse die? ). Attractively toned and rare type with inverted trident and flowing hair. Struck from somewhat worn dies, otherwise, very fine.
