MEROVINGIANS. Uncertain mint. Circa 7th century. Triens (Gold, 11 mm, 1.41 g). Facing stylized head; above, cross. Rev. Stylized victory to left, holding wreath and palm. Apparently unublished in the standard references and very rare, if not unique. Struck from somewhat worn dies, otherwise, very fine.
