MEROVINGIANS, Pseudo-Imperial. Circa 460-500. Half-siliqua (?) (Silver, 10.5 mm, 0.42 g, 3 h), imitation of Majorian, uncertain mint in Northern Gaul. D N M Helmeted, diademed, draped and cuirassed bust to right, holding spear. Rev. T T V I Victory standing to left, holding long cross in right hand. Cf. RIC 2653 var. cf. King p. 207 and pl. A, 9-10. Light cabinet toning and extremely rare. Some tiny patches of deposits, otherwise, about extremely fine.
