PAMPHYLIA. Aspendus. Maximinus I, 235-238. (Bronze, 17 mm, 3.97 g, 6 h). ΑΥ Κ Γ ΙΟΥ ΟΥ ΜΑΞΙΜΕΙΝΟϹ Laureate head of Maximinus Thrax to right. Rev. ΑϹΠΕΝΔ-ΙΩΝ Hermes standing facing, head left, holding kerykeion in left hand, chlamys and purse in right. RPC VI, 6336.3 (temporary), this coin. SNG Leypold 1802 ( same dies ). Watson 397. Well centered. Extremely rare, only three known to RPC (including this specimen)! Some marks and deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
