THRACE. Madytos. Circa 350 BC. (Bronze, 19.5 mm, 7.10 g, 5 h). Bull butting to left; above, . Rev. Μ-Α/Δ/Υ Hound seated to right; behind, grain ear. SNG Copenhagen 923 var. ( symbol ). HGC 3.2 --. Possibly unpublished obverse control, and denomination unknown to HGC. Encrustations, some cleaning marks, and a minor metal flaw on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.

Madytos was a colony of the Aeolians from Lesbos.
