GREECE. Otho, 1832-1862. 1/2 Drachmi 1847 (Silver, 19 mm, 2.17 g, 7 h), Athens, struck from dies by Carl Friedrich Voigt, reeded edge. ΟΘΩΝ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ Youthful head of Otho to right; below truncation in tiny letters, K.Φ. Rev. 1/2 ΔΡΑΧΜΗ / 1847 Crowned shield bearing the coat of arms of Greece with the Wittelsbach arms at the center; all within an olive wreath with ties below. Divo 14f. Karamitsos 99. KM 19. Graded by NGC "MS 62". Top pop in NGC. Cert number: 2908888-002.
