MACEDON. Neapolis. Circa 480-450. Obol (Silver, 9 mm, 0.77 g). Gorgoneion facing with closed mouth. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. HGC 3, I, 585. SNG ANS 423-4. Traité II, 1, 1742 and pl. LV, 17. Darkly toned. Somewhat porous, otherwise, very fine.
