BRUTTIUM. Laos. Circa 480-460 BC. Triobol (Silver, 11 mm, 1.19 g, 3 h). ΛΑϞ ( retrograde ) Man-faced bull standing to left, his head turned back to right. Rev. ΛΑϞ ( retrograde ) Bull standing to right. CsP 76 ( same dies ). HN III 2276. H. R. Sternberg, Die Silberprägung von Laos c. 510-440 v. Chr., Actes 8ème Congrès...1973, Paris, 1976. Serie III, 12 (V9/R11). Toned. Very fine/very good.
