Description
Antiochos, 6th-7th century. Seal (Lead, 23 mm, 8.31 g, 12 h). Nimbate bust of the Virgin Mary, facing, between two crosses, holding a medallion of a facing head of Christ, before her; all within a pellet border. Rev. Cruciform monogram of the name ANTIOXOY. DOC BZS.1947.2.1642. Excellent metal with sharp details. Good very fine.
