Description
KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III ‘the Great’, 336-323 BC. (Bronze, 14 mm, 3.09 g), uncertain mint in Asia Minor. Macedonian shield with dot in central boss and five double crescents. Rev. Bow in bow-case, club; K to left and grain ear to right. AMNG 207-8 (as Kallatis). Liampi M 11. A scarce variety. Very fine.
